I’ve been in love with music for as long as I can remember. I was that kid with a radio glued to my ear and a Walkman clipped to my jeans (yes — proudly from the tape deck era). I’d record songs off the radio onto cassettes and choreograph breakdance routines in my parents’ garage like it was my own stage.
By my teens, I was a regular at Bow Wow Records on Central in Albuquerque, building a CD collection that eventually became my first party sets. I wasn’t officially a DJ yet, but if there was a gathering, I was always the one in charge of the music. That’s really where it all began.
My first official gig came unexpectedly on New Year’s Eve 2011. A local promoter needed someone to open for one of my favorite artists, Bitch, and I stepped up. I downloaded Virtual DJ, jumped behind the booth, and instantly fell in love. I wasn’t paid — but I knew I had found something that would stay with me.
Since then, I’ve DJ’d everything from weddings and private events to drag shows, festivals, and dance parties — with over 50 weddings and counting. What keeps me inspired is the connection: that moment when someone hears their song, runs to the dance floor, and the whole room shifts energy together. That never gets old.
House music will always have my heart, especially the soulful Naked Music sound from artists like Blue Six and Lisa Shaw, but my style is versatile. I move across genres, read the room intuitively, and shape the energy in real time so every crowd feels included.
I’m proud to be part of the LGBTQ+ community and have had the honor of DJing Pride celebrations and inclusive events that center joy, safety, and connection. Those spaces remind me why music matters.
These days, my relationship with sound continues to evolve — from dance floors to more reflective sound experiences — but the heart of it stays the same: connection through music.
More music. More connection. More shared moments.
Let’s dance.
